The Challenge
It is quite uncommon for Singaporeans to have a meal-kit plan. It is mostly common for those that health conscious and would prefer to have a meal plan ready for them. However, Kitchen Hands is targeting a wider group of audience.
The general public may not be exposed to a meal-kit subscription plan as they often buy takeout after work or cook for the family.
So, it was not easy to identify who could best fit into the personas for user testing. Nonetheless, we managed to get a few people to test the website.
Since the business is still new, finalising the ordering process took quite some time. We had to manage the client's expectations while understanding the tech limitation.
The screenshot above is just an example of my thought process while understanding this project.
UX Content & Wireframe
As the lead, I was also trusted to come up with some marketing ideas for the website. In most of the pages we made sure that there will always be opportunity to generate leads.
While working on the wireframe, I work very closely with the copywriter to make sure that the copy is simple enough while not doing any hard selling.

Visual Requirement & Final Design
The founder of Kitchen Hands like a rustic looking design. She also added that she prefers it to be minimalistic and modern.
Keeping that in mind, I made some visual research and saved some references based on the requirements. Then I worked with a visual designer to come out with a moodboard and finally have a chosen visual direction.
